Role
The Training Director is responsible for what is at the very heart of Sexpression - Relationships and Sex Education teaching! They work to enable Branches to train their volunteers and then support them in planning sessions delivered to young people. They oversee and update our Core Offer to ensure our teaching remains relevant to young people’s needs. The workload is high at the start of the year and culminates at the Training Weekends, but after that, there is a lot of flexibility to work whenever convenient.
This role can be held by two Training Directors to facilitate Training Weekends in the North and South of the UK, respectively. Where two Training Directors are appointed, the role’s responsibilities will be equally delegated between them, with support from the National Director to achieve this.
NB: Training Directors must be available for Training Weekends in September and preferably a second date for Refresher Training in January/Early February.
