On a practical level, they ensure that all members within the network are appropriately safeguarded, trained, and have obtained criminal background checks where necessary, and that any safeguarding incidents are dealt with appropriately. The Safeguarding Director works closely with the Branches Director to communicate with branches and ensure that the Sexpression:UK Safeguarding Policy is being followed.
We recommend that candidates have experience as Branch Safeguarding Officers.
